The Oakton Library in Skokie is now located in the new Skokie Learning Commons! In this new collaborative space the Oakton community can access academic support services provided by the Access and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), Learning Center, Library, Testing Services, and TRIO Student Support Services. The Learning Commons can be accessed through the first floor entrance, A135, and the second floor entrance, A200. Both floors are connected via an elevator within the space.
The library also offers 24/7 access to our extensive collection of online content including: articles, e-books, and movies. We also provide access to print books, technology, and more during open hours. In addition to our collection, you'll also be able to borrow items from more than 80 colleges and universities throughout Illinois.
Most in-person library transactions require your Owl ID. You can pick up your card in person or have it mailed to you.
